Responsibilities:
– Managing and leading complex Modernization, Revision and Repair Projects and leading the project team including internal partners, intercompany organizations, subcontractors, as well as external interfaces from the project kick-off until final takeover
– Profit and loss responsibility for the allocated project by delivering the project within time, budget and cash targets in the required quality whilst optimizing the margin
– Main point of contact for the customers regarding contractual, planning and commercial topics
– Managing and leading of the internal and external project administration, the change management process as well as risk- and opportunity management
– Leading of frequent project progress meetings during project execution and coordination between the involved departments
– Periodic reporting of the project status and project results to the regional management board
– Support of sales and tendering activities
Qualifications:
– Universal degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent and further economic education
– 5 Years of experience in managing challenging and complex projects in an international environment
– Sound professional experience in the area of plant engineering or rolling stock business
– Ability to manage the contract, identify scope creep and negotiate deviations and claims
– Very good communication skills in English and German; any other additional languages is beneficial
– Purposeful, structured and entrepreneurial thinking person
– Team player with a high degree of ownership, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
– Project Management Certification beneficial
