Embedded Software Development Engineer with focus on Fieldbus Technologies (m/f/d) – 13425
Responsibilities:
– Develop embedded software for sensors and actuators for the Process Industry
– Integrate fieldbus protocols, for eg. Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus/TCP
– Conduct integration tests. Take care of the devices’ approval
– Collaborate with hardware engineers and software engineers in-house and abroad as well as with external service providers
– Ensure quality as well as efficient and timely delivery
– Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
– Supporting lifecycle management of existing fieldbus-based products
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science, or comparable
– A minimum of 5 years experience in developing embedded software in an industrial environment
– Experience with digital connectivity, eg. Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, IO-Link
– Experience in modern C++ (C++ 11 and higher), with ARM Cortex MCUs as well as embedded OS
– Experience in Scrum or similar agile methodologies
– Experience with cyber security, eg. IEC62443-4 is a plus
– English on a good level is a must, German would be an asset
– A valid work permit for Switzerland or at least an EU citizenship
