Global Trade Excellence Manager (flexible location) – 12290

Responsibilities:
– Operational Support: Act as the primary point of contact for business and global/local Trade functions, assist with trade execution, provide trade advisory, and support escalations.
– Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement, gain business support, and empower cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational excellence and execution.
– Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation, collaboration, and accountability at all levels.
– Measure Performance: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure progress, track results, and drive accountability for operational excellence initiatives.
– Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operational processes and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations.
– Technology Implementation and Best Practices: Research and implement new technologies, promote best practices, and support process standardisation globally to ensure consistency and excellence in execution and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
– Minimum 8 years of overall work experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management with 3-5 years of focused experience on Trade Compliance.
– University degree in International Trade, Supply Chain / Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
– Knowledge and proven experience in customs management, FTAs, and duty-saving programs are highly desirable.
– Solid understanding of export controls and sanctions concepts, with an emphasis on U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and U.S. sanctions programs.
– Proven track record of successfully driving operational excellence initiatives and delivering measurable results.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions.
– Experience with digital tools and process automation related to trade operations.
– Change / project management expertise.
– Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, ability to coordinate, influence and lead without authority.
