Head of Development Medical Electrical Equipment (m/f/d) with potential to grow into next higher position – 47942
Responsibilities:
– Lead a team of electronics, embedded software and system engineers
– Define and drive system architecture in collaboration with experts in electronics, embedded systems, connectivity, and mechanical design
– Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance product performance and reliability
– Manage development milestones, risk assessments, and design reviews in compliance with relevant industry standards
Qualifications:
– Degree in Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
– Minimum 5-10 years of experience in medical device development, with a strong focus on electronics, embedded software, and system engineering
– Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and delivering successful product launches
– Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
– Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
