Principal / Sr Principal, RW & Commercial Consulting Swiss Pharma HQ – 40080
Responsibilities:
– Drive business development and build relationships with key clients
– Lead project teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients
– Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and growth
– Build client intimacy and identify business development opportunities
– Act as principal owner of client relationships and engagements
– Allocate direction, advice, and leadership to clients and delivery teams
– Oversee development of client reports and presentations
– Deliver findings and ensure client satisfaction throughout and after projects
– Lead thought leadership and firm-building initiatives
– Participate in annual performance review processes
– Engage in recruitment and selection of new staff
– Foster client-centricity, delivery excellence, partnership, empowerment, and coaching behaviors
Qualifications:
– Significant prior experience in consulting or business development roles within Life Sciences or professional services
– Expertise in one or more of the following: real-world evidence, medical affairs, HEOR, market access, commercial strategy and operations, data science and analytics
– Proven experience in selling complex or strategic engagements at headquarters or global level
– Track record in building client relationships and account strategy
– Commercial awareness with experience in scope management and client relationship management
– Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
– Experience in developing new service offerings and familiarity with innovation models
– Ability to advance conceptual ideas to decision points engaging multiple stakeholders
– Experience managing virtual teams and enabling high-quality client delivery
– Excellent interpersonal and networking skills; values knowledge sharing
– Previous experience coaching junior team members, ideally in a formal role
– Leadership experience in complex organizations, aligning teams without formal authority
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree or MBA is advantageous but not required
– Fluency in English (spoken and written)
– Willingness and ability to travel
