Project Manager Traction (80-100%) – 14119

Responsibilities:
– Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing initiation, planning, execution and monitoring & control activities for internal and external stakeholders to accomplish all project goals.
– Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risks, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. Overseeing commercial aspects of order execution relating to several customer projects with the aim of ensuring quality and efficiency.
– Acting as reliable point of contact for customers (change management, FAI / FATs, claim management, etc.) and driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
– Reporting status / progress to internal stakeholders and the customer with appropriate detail, and contributing to internal improvement projects, applying Lean Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications:
– At least 4 years of relevant experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
– A Bachelor’s degree e.g. in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent.
– Professional level in English and German, other languages are an asset.
– A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
– Familiarity with drives or (traction) converter value chain.
– Project Management certification (e.g. PMP / IPMA) is desirable.
– Knowledge in Railway and / or heavy-duty mining technology would be an asset.
