R&D Product Development Engineer – 50004

Responsibilities:
– Design and develop innovative connectivity products and devices using 3D CAD tools
– Lead product development from concept through to production ramp-up
– Translate product requirements into technical specifications and drive concept creation
– Conduct DFMEA risk assessments and define technical requirements for product qualification
– Facilitate design reviews throughout the development lifecycle, including design verification, validation, and qualification planning
– Advance technical knowledge in connectivity technologies and apply continuous improvement methodologies
– Ensure compliance with Product Development Process (PDP) and manage engineering changes across the Product Life Cycle
– Collaborate effectively with cross-functional, multi-location project teams
– Lead development projects and sub-projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and timely delivery
– Ensure product quality by applying relevant international standards and engineering tools

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, materials, or micro-engineering
– Background or proven experience in new product development
– Background or proven experience in mass production products
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CAD (PTC suite preferred)
– Experience with Ansys simulation is a plus
– Experience in R&D business processes and tools (PDP, PLM, SAP)
– Background in V&V process (Verification and Validation)
– Strong passion for new product development and innovation
– Effective communication and collaborative skills
– Strong self-management, time management, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities
– High level of accountability throughout the development lifecycle
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
