Responsibilities:
– Manage R&D projects in software development and control engineering
– Develop software documentation (test documentation) based on relevant industry standards (e.g., GAMP5, GMP, GxP)
– Support the maintenance of the base software of the product portfolio
– Develop market-oriented, qualitative, and cost-optimized automation solutions for life science products within guidelines
– Deliver solutions adhering to quality, cost, and time principles
– Ensure compliance with applicable laws, guidelines, and standards
– Participate in training and further education of internal employees
Qualifications:
– Basic electrical engineering training
– Degree in electrical engineering or automation (e.g., system technician or similar)
– Several years of experience in plant, machine, or apparatus construction
– Solid knowledge in programming PLC controls according to EN 61131-3
– Experience with Siemens S7 (TIA Portal) is an advantage
– Knowledge of RSLogix is an advantage
– Experience in creating HMI applications (e.g., Siemens WinCC Advanced/Unified); knowledge of Rockwell Factory Talk Optix is an advantage
– Experience with Industry 4.0 and digitalization
– Fluent in German and English
