Responsibilities:
– Utilize mastery of modern C++ and CMake to produce clean, modular code.
– Work with various types of scanning hardware and with the 3D objects they generate.
– Architect and implement software to control optical, lighting, and 3D scanning systems.
– Fuse 3D surface scans with internal volumetric data.
– Build intuitive and efficient GUI components for metrology tools.
– Collaborate with the Lead Developer to debug, refine, and elevate the full software stack.
Qualifications:
– Mastery of modern C++ and CMake, with a clean, modular coding style.
– Experience using tools like vcpkg, and comfort leveraging AI tools to speed up development.
– A portfolio or GitHub that proves your skill.
– Fluent written English.
– Analytical thinking and a self-driven mindset; able to work solo and thrive in a fast-moving team.
– Swiss or EU citizenship, or a valid C, B, or S permit.
– Bonus: Experience with Python or C#.
– Bonus: Knowledge of 3D scanners or metrology systems.
– Bonus: Familiarity with PLC or TwinCAT.
