Responsibilities:
– Administer Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V)
– Manage networks, storage, and backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis)
– Ensure compliance with data protection and disaster recovery policies
– Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
– Maintain Active Directory, GPOs, SSO, and RBAC
– Manage Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP
– Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, GDPR) and maintain documentation
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of hands-on experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure
– Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator
– VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
– Strong experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL)
– Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
– Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Acronis, etc.)
– Proficiency in network administration
– Experience with enterprise security solutions (firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection, SIEMs)
– Ability to write scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation
– Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, etc.
– Experience with migrations from on-prem to MS Azure
